Massage Therapist
Katherine’s Grandfather was a Cherokee Medicine Man, who told her at age 7, she had healing hands. She chose to follow a more practical path rather than one of a healer. She went to college and became a Corporate Recruiter. Throughout the years that followed there was always a longing to do something with her life that would benefit the human race.
Her mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and had fought bravely for ten years. But in 1998 she took a turn for the worse. She had spent hours doing massage to try and bring comfort to her as she neared the end of her life. Her mother told her repeatedly how good she was at massage, and asked her if she ever thought of taking up the profession, a seed was planted.
After loosing her mother to Breast Cancer in 1998 everything changed. She no longer had the drive to be a Recruiter. She decided to change her life completely. She moved to Lausanne Switzerland in May of 2000. Living in Switzerland allowed her the opportunity to focus on her spiritual and physical health.
In October of 2001, she graduated From the Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in San Diego.
Her emphasis is on Therapeutic, Neuromuscular and Remedial Massage techniques.
Katherine
enjoys a successful fulltime practice in north east San Diego County.
